Step into the realm of cutting-edge lighting technology with these Crompton Lamps 10W LED replacement PLT-E (triple turn TE-type) light bulbs.

As EU/UK regulations progressively phase out compact fluorescent bulbs, now is the opportune moment to embrace LED lighting for a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow. Say goodbye to outdated CFL push fit bulbs and welcome a new era of superior performance and energy efficiency.

Crafted to seamlessly replace old 32W CFL bulbs while maintaining comparable brightness, this LED bulb consumes a mere 31% of the energy, resulting in a substantial 69% saving on your energy bills. Emitting a brilliant 1300 lumens at 130lm/W of warm white light (3000K), it stands as the perfect lighting solution for a diverse range of commercial applications, delivering optimal illumination precisely where it's needed most.

Featuring a universal G24q Universal 4-Pin base, this bulb effortlessly integrates into any G24q fitting, irrespective of the wattage of the previous CFL bulb, simplifying the transition process.

With an exceptional lifespan of 30,000 hours, once installed, you can enjoy up to 16.4 years of uninterrupted illumination (based on 5-hours use per day), sparing you the inconvenience and expense of frequent replacements.

For optimum efficiency, these bulbs need to be wired directly to mains 240V voltage. Modifications to the light fitting may be necessary, and we strongly recommend seeking the expertise of a qualified electrician for installation.

It's noteworthy that this LED bulb is stepping in to supplant the now-banned CFL technology, aligning with the industry's movement towards sustainable lighting practices. Delve deeper into the ban and its implications for your lighting choices in our comprehensive guide to the ban on compact fluorescent bulbs.

CFL (compact fluorescent lamp) bulbs had long been favoured for their energy-efficient lighting. However, they harboured drawbacks that rendered them less than ideal. Primarily, CFL bulbs contain mercury, a toxic substance detrimental to both humans and the environment, making their disposal challenging. Additionally, CFL bulbs exhibited a delay in reaching full brightness and were prone to flickering and humming, causing inconvenience and potential discomfort.

In contrast, LED (light-emitting diode) bulbs eschew toxic substances and boast significantly higher energy efficiency than CFL bulbs. Instant-on functionality eliminates the warm-up time associated with CFL bulbs, while the absence of flicker and hum ensures a more pleasant and comfortable lighting experience for your home or office.

LED replacement direct-to-mains push-fit bulbs epitomise the future of lighting technology, offering unmatched energy efficiency and longevity. By transitioning to LED, you can reap substantial cost savings, diminish your carbon footprint, and contribute to a more sustainable future for generations to come.
